The vehicle stability control takes center stage: Teoresi’s contribution<\/em><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From September 2 to 6, 2024, Politecnico di Milano<\/a> hosted the 16th edition of AVEC \u201824 \u2013 Advanced Vehicle Control<\/strong><\/a>, an international symposium dedicated to advanced vehicle control systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the International Association for Vehicle System Dynamics (IAVSD)<\/a>, chassis.tech plus<\/a>, Automobiltechnische Zeitschrift (ATZ)<\/a> and the Organizing Committee of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. (JSAE)<\/a>, the event has been, for over 30 years, one of the most important international conferences in the field of vehicle dynamics and control systems. On this occasion, companies, academic institutions, engineers, and researchers gathered to discuss the latest innovations and technologies in this field, promoting the advancement of the automotive sector through the active exchange of ideas and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium featured a program packed with technical presentations, keynote lectures, guided technical tours, and paper publications. Among the topics discussed were chassis control, powertrain, electric vehicles, ADAS and stability systems, and many other subjects related to vehicle control systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the agenda dedicated to papers \u2013 later indexed on \u00a0Scopus<\/a> \u2013 is Teoresi’s contribution, thanks to Gerardo Amato<\/a>, Ph.D., Specialist Vehicle Control Software Engineer, who participated in the creation of a paper titled \u201cA Yaw Rate Based Stability Control Tuning via Virtual Methods.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The paper, presented on September 4 during the Stability Enhancement Systems (ABS, TCS, ESC) session, shares the results of the analysis and work focused on integrating advanced adaptive algorithms used to estimate vehicle state variables, with the goal of more accurately implementing lateral stability control algorithms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
