The time has come to draw conclusions and collect feedback directly from those who experienced firsthand the Mondial de l\u2019Auto<\/strong><\/a> in Paris in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teoresi took part in the event alongside XEV, with a shared vision aimed at sustainable innovation in smart mobility. The star of the event was YOYO Autonomy, the electric city car prototype with autonomous driving and battery swapping<\/a>, for connected and shared future urban mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 777 kilometers to transport YOYO to Paris (just as many to take it back to Turin!), plunging among more than 100 exhibitors, the turnover of 8 colleagues in managing the booth, and countless visitors interested in our technologies, here you have some of the feedbacks from those present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valeria Proietti Dante<\/a> \u2013 Computer Vision Research Engineer<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was an intense experience, both from the technical point of view, both with a view to future projects: it was certainly satisfying to see the result of months of work to set up a prototype car that moves autonomously by studying its surroundings and avoiding obstacles, to prepare it and bring it to the event, and then seeing the visitors\u2019 fervent interest in our technologies. But it was also an opportunity to immerse ourselves in a highly specialized automotive environment, take cues and start thinking about new ideas and new projects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmong the various player taking part in the Motor Show, including car makers mainly from Southeast Asia, urban mobility service providers and our competitors, it is interesting to note that we have positioned ourselves among the very few European companies bringing autonomous driving: further confirmation of our results on the innovation front and our aptitude to face the challenges of the market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis experience has confirmed that many companies, including automakers, component manufacturers and service providers around the world, are interested in expanding their business by introducing autonomous driving or some features based on specific technologies or sensors and the use of artificial intelligence, either to transfer acquired knowledge to partner manufacturer companies to market new products, or to apply open innovation paradigms within new innovation ecosystems. All of this allows us to start thinking concretely to the possibility of integrating these technologies with the infrastructure and to open up to further scenarios of autonomous mobility, by studying solutions for ports and manufacturing plants.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
