Oceans are a vital ecosystem: they regulate the climate, host unique biodiversity, and support the lives of billions of people. Yet every year, large amounts of plastic – and other waste – end up in the sea, breaking down into fragments and harming habitats, species, and coastal communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make a concrete contribution to the protection of marine ecosystems, we partnered with Ogyre<\/a>, an Italian startup, B Corp, and benefit corporation. Through the Fishing for Litter program, Ogyre engages an international network of professional fishers to recover marine waste during their regular fishing activities, documenting each operation through digital traceability systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration is part of Teoresi Go!<\/a>, the program that brings together our ESG initiatives and turns them into measurable actions. Our shared goal for 2025 was to support the collection of 1,000 kg of marine waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campaign results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the end of this journey, we reached our target: 1,000 kg of marine waste recovered through Ogyre projects active in Indonesia, Brazil, and Italy – symbolically equivalent to 100,000 PET 0.5 L bottles, the most common plastic used in single-use products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
