Turin.\u00a0 Here, robotics and artificial intelligence are tested in real-world environments to develop\u00a0new solutions\u00a0supporting the cognitive functions of older adults.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A European project for cognitive health<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>DAISI&amp;RON is part of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fondazioneanthem.it\/\">ANTHEM \u2013&nbsp;AdvaNced&nbsp;Technology for&nbsp;Human-centEred&nbsp;Medicine<\/a><\/strong>, funded by the <strong>Italian Ministry of University and Research within the National Complementary Plan<\/strong>.&nbsp;The project is coordinated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neuroscienze.unito.it\/do\/home.pl?_nfls=false\"><strong>Department of Neuroscience \u201cRita Levi Montalcini\u201d<\/strong> <\/a>of the University of Turin, with contributions from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teoresigroup.com\/de\/\">Teoresi Group<\/a><\/strong>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/intravides\/about\/\">&nbsp;<strong>Intravides&nbsp;Srl<\/strong>,<\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nico.ottolenghi.unito.it\/\">NICO \u2013 Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi.<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, TEO&nbsp;represents&nbsp;the connection between technology and everyday life.&nbsp;<br>Developed by Teoresi, the robot is designed to move autonomously, interact through voice, and safely support people in their daily activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After&nbsp;an initial&nbsp;testing phase within company environments, TEO now enters&nbsp;an advanced research&nbsp;setting to&nbsp;validate&nbsp;its functionalities in more complex scenarios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Digital tools for cognitive support<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The system developed within <strong>DAISI&amp;RON<\/strong> integrates the robot with a digital platform offering interactive cognitive exercises, designed to stimulate memory, language, and motor functions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collected data&nbsp;are&nbsp;processed to support caregivers, helping make&nbsp;assistance&nbsp;more accessible and personalized.&nbsp; This phase&nbsp;represents&nbsp;a concrete step toward developing scalable models, with a strong focus on social impact and sustainability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With <strong>DAISI&amp;RON<\/strong>, Teoresi continues to promote a human-centered approach to innovation, where technology supports people rather than replacing
