\u201cTeoresi\u202fAir Lines\u201d<\/strong>\u202fis an interview series created to explore this international dimension through the voices of the people who make it real every day.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The format features interviews with colleagues from a few locations where Teoresi operates, highlighting the distinctive aspects of each location. These conversations reflect how local expertise, cultural perspectives, and strategic positioning support the company\u2019s development across markets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this series, we also present Teoresi\u2019s international presence and how its identity evolves through the people and environments it engages with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teoresi in the United States<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Teoresi established its presence in the United States in 2010, opening its headquarters in Troy, Michigan. Over the years, the organization has expanded with offices in\u202fChicago, Illinois; Austin, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Redwood City, California, strengthening its position within key industrial and technological hubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The US location plays a strategic role in supporting customers and partners\u202foperating\u202fin highly advanced engineering ecosystems, particularly in the automotive and mobility sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Marcella\u202f& Antonino\u00a0\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Marcella\u202fSanapo<\/strong><\/a>\u202fis the Regional Sales Manager for\u202fTeoresi\u202f US and has been part of\u202fTeoresi\u202f for 19 years. She started as an intern in Italy, from progressing to a Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager and relocating to the US, to becoming the Regional Sales Manager for Teoresi US today.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antonino Carlo Guzzetta<\/strong><\/a> has been with Teoresi for more than 10 years. He too started his career with Teoresi in Italy, later moving to the metro Detroit area to support the expanding operations of Teoresi in the United States.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What would you say are some of the benefits of having the Teoresi US headquarters in the Detroit area?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being based in the Detroit\u202farea places\u202fTeoresi\u202fat the center of a new wave of innovation around mobility and advanced technologies. Beyond the traditional automotive players, the region is attracting startups, technology companies, and significant investments that are reshaping the mobility ecosystem. This dynamic environment allows us to stay close to our customers while actively participating\u202fin the evolution of next-generation technologies.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What trends or developments in the region excite you the most?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What excites me the most about Michigan, and especially the Detroit metro area, is that we are\u202fwitnessing\u202fa real transformation of the mobility industry.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detroit is no\u202flonger only\u202fthe historic home of the automotive\u202findustry;\u202fit is becoming one of the most important global ecosystems for next-generation mobility and technology. We see this with initiatives like the <\/em>I-94 Connected and Automated Vehicle Corridor<\/em><\/a> between Detroit and Ann Arbor, which is being developed as a real-world test environment for connected and autonomous vehicles, enabling experimentation with smart infrastructure and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, projects like <\/em>Michigan Central<\/em><\/a> are bringing together startups, technology companies, and research institutions working on autonomous systems, new mobility platforms, and even drone\u202flogistics.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being based here means being at the center of this transformation, where traditional automotive\u202fexpertise\u202fmeets\u202fnew technologies\u202flike <\/em>AI<\/em> and advanced mobility solutions.\u202fIt\u2019s\u202fan incredibly dynamic environment, and it creates exciting opportunities for companies like Teoresi to contribute to shaping the future of mobility.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From your perspective, how has Teoresi US evolved over the years in terms of market presence, industries served, and technological\u202fexpertise?\u202f<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We started as a small extension of our Italian headquarters, bringing our engineering\u202fexpertise\u202fto the US market.<\/em> Over the years,\u202fI\u2019ve\u202fseen us grow step by step into something much bigger, building our own identity, our own team, and our own way of supporting customers.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we are part of a global network with a strong local presence, combining international collaboration with close customer support.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And what excites me the most is that this journey is still ongoing, we are not just evolving, we are going through a real transformation\u2026\u202falmost a\u202frevolution. <\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What opportunities does the Detroit ecosystem offer engineers that other regions may\u202fnot?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detroit offers engineers the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals from around the world, bringing together diverse backgrounds and perspectives.\u202fThe region\u2019s deep-rooted automotive heritage, developed throughout the\u202f20<\/em>th<\/sup><\/em>\u202fcentury, has created a strong engineering culture that continues to influence<\/em>automotive manufacturer\u2019<\/em>s and industry stakeholders today. This environment fosters collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous innovation. The \u201cMotor City\u201d spirit\u202fremains\u202fa driving force behind advancements in automotive design and technology, making Detroit a unique place for engineers to grow and contribute to the future of mobility.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you learned anything new from colleagues from\u202fdifferent backgrounds?<\/strong>\u202f

Yes,\u202fdefinitely. Working with colleagues from\u202fdifferent backgrounds\u202fhas exposed me to\u202fnew design\u202fmethodologies and\u202fdifferent ways\u202fof approaching the same problem.\u202f<\/em>\u202fI\u2019ve\u202falso picked up bits of some of their native languages along the way, which has been a fun bonus and helps build stronger connections within the team.<\/em>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
