We have joined the City of Turin\u2019s Climate City Contract <\/strong><\/a>as a Torino Greenlight Member.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This commitment is part of the pathway promoted by the City of Turin within the EU Mission \u201c100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030\u201d<\/strong>, the European programm<\/strong>e supporting selected cities in achieving climate neutrality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Climate City Contract is an agreement that brings together public administrations, companies, local stakeholders and citizens to define commitments, actions and investments aimed at reducing emissions and supporting the city\u2019s sustainable transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For us, becoming part of this journey means contributing to a local ecosystem built around collaboration, responsibility and the ability to take action. The ecological transition requires vision and continuity: it is built through measurable choices, concrete projects and alliances capable of generating long-term value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the same approach behind Teoresi Go!<\/a><\/strong>, the programme created in 2024 to collect and enhance the Group\u2019s ESG initiatives, giving continuity to ongoing projects and providing a shared framework for new activities dedicated to sustainability, inclusion and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we will do as a Torino Greenlight Member<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a Torino Greenlight Member, we will work to turn the objectives of the<\/strong> Climate City Contract<\/a> into concrete initiatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City\u2019s Action Plan will serve as a reference point to identify the main areas where we can contribute, including responsible resource management, sustainable mobility, reduction of environmental impacts, internal awareness-raising and monitoring of results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will start from the environmental initiatives already launched within Teoresi Go!, strengthening ongoing activities and assessing new opportunities for improvement in line with local priorities. The goal is to make our actions increasingly measurable, recognizable and integrated into company life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offices, resources and sustainability: the view of our Facility Manager<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To understand how this commitment can translate into everyday activities, we asked Andrea Piovano<\/a>,<\/strong> our Facility Manager, two questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.The Climate City Contract sets ambitious goals, but change often comes through everyday choices. In your opinion, what are the priorities where a company like Teoresi can act effectively in the management of its offices?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The priorities are the areas where we can take action every day, such as energy consumption, plant management, use of spaces and waste reduction. In recent years, we have already worked on improving the efficiency of lighting systems, installing presence sensors, monitoring plants and self-producing energy from renewable sources.<\/em> The next step is to make these actions increasingly structured, comparing data across offices and identifying where to intervene first. Waste management, consumable materials and electronic equipment are also concrete areas where we can improve.<\/em> As Facility, our role is to create increasingly efficient work environments with a strong focus on sustainability. However, people\u2019s contribution is also essential, because many sustainable choices depend on how spaces are used in everyday life.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.How can the value of these initiatives be measured over time? And which indicators or signals can help us understand whether the actions launched are truly contributing to a more responsible use of spaces, resources and energy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Value is measured through the continuous analysis of comparable data, not through isolated actions.<\/em> The main indicators are energy consumption by office, linked to the level of greenhouse gas emissions, the efficiency of systems for self-produced energy generation and the efficiency of plants.<\/em> These are complemented by more operational data, such as scheduled periodic maintenance, the reduction of recurring anomalies, the containment of waste and unsorted waste production, and their correct disposal.<\/em> Other useful signals include the reduction of waste and greater attention from people in the management of spaces.<\/em> The goal is to understand what works, replicate it where possible and turn sustainability into an ordinary practice in office management.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
