{"id":84779,"date":"2026-09-28T15:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T13:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.teoresigroup.com\/?p=84779"},"modified":"2026-09-28T15:43:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T13:43:20","slug":"teoresi-group-envelope-demo-event-turin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teoresigroup.com\/de\/news\/teoresi-group-envelope-demo-event-turin\/","title":{"rendered":"Teoresi Group at the ENVELOPE Demo Event in Turin: a partner for autonomous and connected mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns row align-center row sezione\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column column small-12 medium-10 large-8\">\n<p><strong>On October 1st<\/strong>, Turin will host the <strong>Italian ENVELOPE Demo Event<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/linksfoundation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fondazione LINKS. <\/a><br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/envelope-project.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ENVELOPE<\/a> is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action co-funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/smart-networks.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking<\/a>,<strong> focused on developing an open and flexible 5G-Advanced architecture<\/strong> to enable greater interaction between communication networks and applications.<br><br>Following the research, integration and testing preparation phases, the project is now reaching one of its most tangible milestones: <strong>validation in a real urban environment<\/strong>, where vehicles, networks, data and infrastructure will interact through two demonstration scenarios.<br><br>For us, the event will also be an opportunity to contribute directly to the project\u2019s demonstration phase by providing <strong>two autonomous and connected vehicle prototypes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-will-happen-during-the-demo-event\">What will happen during the Demo Event?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Turin trial is designed to explore how advanced connectivity can support new services for connected and autonomous mobility.<br>Alongside Teoresi Group, the Italian trial involves Fondazione LINKS, the City of Turin \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/torinocitylab.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Torino City Lab<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timenterprise.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TIM<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpe.com\/it\/it\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hewlett Packard Enterprise<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nextworks.it\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nextworks.<\/a><br><br>During the demonstration, <strong>the two prototypes will be used in two application scenarios<\/strong>, designed to assess how connected vehicles, infrastructure and networks can exchange and use information in a real urban environment.<br><br>In the first scenario, an autonomous vehicle will use its sensors to collect information about the surrounding environment and share it with the infrastructure. The scenario simulates the presence of a vehicle involved in an accident and makes it possible to observe how data collected on the road can contribute to the dynamic reconstruction of an accident.<br><br>The second scenario focuses on updating the maps used by autonomous vehicles. When road conditions change, for example due to an obstacle or a route becoming unavailable, this information can be shared with other connected vehicles, allowing them to receive an updated map and adjust their route accordingly.<br><br><strong>Two different situations, united by the same requirement<\/strong>: enabling vehicles and infrastructure to continuously exchange information and use it while the vehicle is in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-our-contribution\">Our contribution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the project, we have upgraded our prototypes with<strong> new sensors and connectivity features<\/strong>, working on both vehicle perception capabilities and data exchange with the infrastructure.<br><br><strong>The vehicles integrate HD cameras, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, radar and GPS.<\/strong> The information collected is combined using sensor fusion techniques, enabling a digital reconstruction of the surrounding environment.<br><br>This work on the vehicles is part of a broader contribution to the project, which also includes t<strong>he development and evaluation of tests on advanced networks and activities related to edge computing<\/strong>, which allows data to be processed and managed closer to the point where it is generated, reducing reliance on remote systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-agenda\">The agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moderated by <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.24orebs.com\/docenti\/luca-tremolada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Luca Tremolada<\/a>, the Demo Event will focus on ENVELOPE\u2019s objectives and results, the Italian trial, and Network Exposure and Zero-Touch Automation technologies applied to connected and autonomous mobility.<br><br>The programme will also include a dedicated session on the experiments developed through the Open Calls, as well as the workshop \u201cFrom Experimentation to Deployment \u2013 The Future of Connected Mobility\u201d.<br><br>In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 PM, the demonstration session will begin, featuring live demos of the Italian trial and demonstrations related to the Open Calls.<br><br><strong>To view the full agenda and register for the Demo Event<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/envelope-connected-mobility-in-action-b5g-trials-and-demonstrations-tickets-2000253441890?aff=oddtdtcreator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">visit the dedicated event page.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">On October 1st, Turin will host the Italian ENVELOPE Demo Event at Fondazione LINKS.
