Discussions also focused on a <strong>12-month roadmap for collaboration<\/strong>, including targeted matchmaking, a <strong>2027 U.S. roadshow<\/strong>, and opportunities for continued engagement between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>October 16<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>the Institutionial Session,<strong> &#8222;Building the Architecture to Scale<\/strong>,&#8220; continued at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C., <strong>turning to the financial and institutional framework needed to scale these collaborations<\/strong>. Discussions explored how U.S. and Italian public and private capital can support promising partnerships and contribute to the <strong>development of the accelerator and its associated Investment Facility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the event, we caught up with Beatrice and Alexandre to gain further insight:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beatrice, what did you hear during the event that excited you most about the future of innovation between the two countries and what surprised you most about the perspectives shared by U.S. and Italian leaders during these two days?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>What excited me most was the shift from dialogue to execution. The October 15 working session at the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy was explicitly designed around what participants can bring, what they need, and how to build a U.S.\u2013Italy Trusted Tech Accelerator with a 12-month roadmap.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The following day at the Embassy of Italy, the conversation broadened to research, industry and government partnerships. What surprised me was the convergence of perspectives: alongside market access and capital, leaders on both sides treated trust as a practical condition for innovation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Technology is not value-neutral; it embeds choices and values. The opportunity is to translate that shared awareness into projects that can scale.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alexandre, from the North American perspective, what opportunities for stronger collaboration between U.S. and Italian companies stood out to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Among the many sectors discussed, AI and digital transformation stood out as potential areas for stronger collaboration between U.S. and Italian companies, particularly given the complex regulatory landscape surrounding these technologies.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How can Teoresi\u2019s presence in both Italy and the United States help turn conversations like these into concrete opportunities for collaboration?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alexandre-de-almeida-80779871\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alexandre<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>There was a mix of U.S.-based companies and Italian based companies. They were all looking at ways to increase or establish their presence in the United States.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Teoresi U.S. is well positioned to facilitate either of these efforts.
