Some of us have already planned the perfect route, others will improvise at the last minute, and still others are focusing on a strategic run or walk. But one thing\u2019s certain: on Sunday, March 9, 111 of us from Teoresi Group will be running (or walking) together in Just The Woman I Am<\/a><\/strong>. The solidarity walk-run event started in 2014 in Turin by CUS Torino<\/a> combines sports, solidarity, and research with a single goal: promoting prevention, healthy lifestyles, inclusion, and gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where will we run? Everywhere.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, the event has a dual nature: on one hand, a big wave of pink T-shirts will fill the streets of Turin; on the other, widespread participation will happen all across Italy. Some of us will follow routes set by the organizers, while others will create their own 5 km path wherever they are that day. Just like last year<\/a>, our team will be scattered across multiple cities, but united by the same goal: making our contribution to cancer and health research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spoiler: anyone can join!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants know this is not a race and there\u2019s no stopwatch needed. You can run, walk, laugh with colleagues or friends, or stop halfway to snap a picture and share it on social media. What really matters is being there and sharing the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walk-run is part of a larger initiative organized by CUS Torino<\/a>, in collaboration with the Italian Federation of University Sports<\/a>, the University of Turin<\/a>, and the Polytechnic of Turin<\/a>. Since 2014, it has grown into an event of national importance; taking place from March 7 to 9 in Turin<\/strong>, the event supports research by also offering free health check-ups, consultations, conferences, and informative webinars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
