On Tuesday April 26th, Teoresi’s Project Manager Leader Claudio D’Avino will hold a webinar at the Automotive Security Research Group (ASRG), a non-profit initiative which promotes the development of security solutions for automotive products.
The webinar is about “Fuzz testing procedures for automotive Electronic Control Units“, an effective means to detect vulnerabilities on ECUs and make them hack-proof.
With the increase of the autonomous driving systems on modern vehicles, actually, it is very safety-critical for carmakers to make sure that systems like Braking System Module, Engine Control Module, Electric Powered Steering are very protected by hacking attacks.
During the webinar we will explain the features and the functioning of a “Fuzzer”, an embedded tool that inputs error data randomly to the proto ECU, that was created with Intrepid Control Systems device and charged with some vulnerabilities.
