Just a few days left until December 2nd and preparations are underway for Connection Day, the corporate event that, every year, brings together employees and collaborators from all our Group’s Italian and foreign offices.
This year, as it was in 2020, Connection Day will take place in live streaming and will be accessible online from any location with a simple internet connection. The current historical moment leads us to find new ways to meet, but we hope that after the event, the feeling of having lived together a day different from the others can pleasantly accompany us towards the end of this year.
What is Connection Day?
The annual convention historically represents for Teoresi a unique opportunity to bring together all the Group’s colleagues, to spend time together, sharing ideas and points of view, talking about the activities and results achieved and, of course, having fun.
Above all, it is the ideal time of the year to give space to the human dimension, that connection that allows us to create or strengthen bonds between people, which has always been one of the pivotal points of the spirit and the work of Teoresi.
Not by chance, the theme of Connection Day 2021 is linked to three closely connected keywords: LIFE, HUMAN and ENGINEERING.
Three words that weave together and develop connected considerations, and which represent the common thread of the event that becomes, through it, the new official payoff of the brand: Engineering for Human Life, engineering as the knowledge that can shape the future, which has a responsibility towards the planet, society, and human.
The 2021 format and our guests
These days, the Teoresi headquarters in Turin is being transformed into an authentic television studio: Connection Day 2021 will be structured as a real television broadcast, in which talk shows, interviews, speeches and even entertainment moments will converge.
The event will be streamed live online on our dedicated virtual venue (by ExIdea): an interactive digital platform that will be accessible starting from Monday, November 29th, to allow our colleagues to explore the contents and the agenda, and that will be the tool that, who’s connected from home will use to take part actively to the entertainment moments.
Among the guests – for the moment we don’t want to give too much away – historical and new figures of Teoresi will take turns on the stage with TED speakers, who will offer food for thought about event topics, and above all, the closing moment (we like to think that it is also a starting point!) of the TED Circles, which have represented the approaching path to the day of the event.
The host of the two-hours online event will be a special moderator, Sebastiano Pucciarelli, RAI TV presenter and writer, interlarded, at different times, with the presence of a musical guest particularly popular in this period for the „anthem“ of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
