“Let’s get physical”: Teoresi at the webinar of Good Game Italia about games effects on body and mind

In the agenda of events by Good Game Italia, the initiative promoted by Civiltà Digitale, on Wednesday, September 14, we will be guests at the webinar „Ci vuole il fisico” (Let’s get physical), dedicated to the use of video games to train the mind and motor skills, fighting some degenerative diseases of the brain and increasing the brain activity of those who complete gaming challenges. 

Marco Bazzani, Teoresi’s Innovation Manager will talk with other „curious“ gaming experts precisely about the effects of gaming on the body and mind. Passionate about video games (his favorite ones are Assassin’s creed and Medieval Total War!), with a solid background in research in the smart health field, he will talk about his experiences related to the applications of gaming in rehabilitation therapies and the future projects in which Teoresi is engaged on these issues.  

Game mechanics, gamification processes, slowing down cognitive degeneration in diseases such as Alzehimer’s, use of sensors and consoles in post-operative rehabilitation will be the main themes of his talk.
