For the first time, we will take part in the national final of CyberChallenge.IT 2026, scheduled from 13 to 15 July in Salerno, as Gold Sponsor of the initiative.
The event brings together students, universities, companies and tech communities in a programme dedicated to cybersecurity. For us, it will be an opportunity to meet young people developing their skills in this field and to share how digital security contributes to the projects we develop.
What is CyberChallenge.IT?
Organized by the Cybersecurity National Lab of CINI, the National Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics, with the support of the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency, CyberChallenge.IT is a training programme for students aged 16 to 24.
The programme takes place in more than 40 university locations across Italy and includes twelve weeks of activities on topics such as cryptography, software security, network security and malware analysis. After the training phase, participants take part in local competitions and, for the selected teams, in the national final.
The 2026 edition marks the tenth anniversary of the initiative: an important milestone that confirms its role in the development of cybersecurity skills in Italy.
Why this sponsorship?
Cybersecurity is a cross-functional practice. It concerns many of the sectors in which we work: from connected mobility to aerospace, from medtech to telecommunications, through to digital and software-defined systems.
Designing secure technologies means protecting data, devices, infrastructures and software architectures throughout the entire development lifecycle. It also means bringing together different skills: engineering, embedded software, systems, validation, data management and applied research.
“Cybersecurity is an integral part of complex engineering projects. Taking part in CyberChallenge.IT means connecting with people who are developing technical skills that will be important for the future of innovation and technology. For us, it is also a way to contribute to a more direct dialogue between education, research and industry.” – Marco Bazzani, Innovation Manager, Teoresi Group
“Integrating cybersecurity into a project means considering it from the earliest stages of design: from requirements definition to architectural choices, through to development, integration and testing. This approach contributes to the creation of more secure, robust and reliable systems. Through CyberChallenge.IT, students have the opportunity to engage with practical challenges and acquire skills that are highly sought after by the industrial and technology sectors.” – Gianluca Toscano, Group Solutions Manager, Teoresi Group
What will happen during the event?
The national days of CyberChallenge.IT 2026 will take place in Salerno from 13 to 15 July.
The programme will open on 13 July with the national competition, reserved for participants in the training programme. The finalist teams will compete in a Capture The Flag competition, putting to the test the skills developed during the weeks of training.
On 14 July, we will take part in the recruitment fair, scheduled in the morning, to meet those who are building their path in cybersecurity and to share the professional opportunities connected to our areas of activity.
It will be an opportunity to get to know our Group better, ask questions about the available career paths and learn more about how these skills can contribute to the development of our projects.
The day will conclude with the national awards ceremony for the 2026 edition.
