On June 18, 2025, at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples, Marco Bazzani, Gianluca Toscano, Antonio Capuano, and Salvatore Cuomo will take part in “CCAM4Italy – Connected, Safe, and Sustainable Mobility,” an event promoted by Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II as part of Spoke 7 of MOST – the National Center for Sustainable Mobility.
This initiative offers an opportunity to share the first results and upcoming challenges of the CCAM4Italy flagship project, and to discuss advanced technologies that can enhance intelligent traffic management, road safety, and environmental sustainability.
From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the event will feature plenary sessions and live demos, fostering open dialogue between stakeholders, institutions, and smart mobility players—guided by a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Vehicles that communicate and cooperate for safer roads
In the demo area, Teoresi will present a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication simulation, a key enabling technology for cooperative mobility and road safety.
The use case recreates a real-world scenario: a vehicle stops behind a blind curve and, thanks to V2X communication, sends an alert to approaching vehicles, which then autonomously stop before reaching the danger zone.
This solution integrates advanced sensing, wireless communication, and automated driving, demonstrating how vehicle cooperation can help prevent accidents and manage unexpected events.
A glimpse into the future of mobility
By participating in CCAM4Italy, Teoresi reaffirms its commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions for connected mobility.
The demo in Naples marks another step forward in a future where vehicles and infrastructure communicate in real time, helping to make urban traffic safer, more efficient, and smarter.
Each new test brings us closer to a new way of experiencing mobility.
