The project was born from the need to manage data, processes, and user experience in an integrated and scalable way within the light electric mobility sector.

We contributed to the development of a digital ecosystem that supports the entire lifecycle of Zehus products: from production and component traceability to post-sales support, user interaction, and telemetry data analysis.

With a full-stack approach and a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and user experience, the system enhances internal efficiency and strengthens user engagement.

Scenario

The collaboration with Zehus S.p.A. stemmed from the need to develop a digital system capable of centralizing and orchestrating the entire product lifecycle — from component production and assembly to OEM management, post-sales support, and end-user interaction.

Completing the picture is the collection and analysis of usage statistics and telemetry data, essential for monitoring vehicle performance and detecting anomalies in real time.

Challenges

Several technical and design challenges emerged during the project:

  • Managing large volumes of telemetry data from motors and user routes, with the need to ensure reliability and continuity in real-time collection and processing.
  • Designing and developing smooth, intuitive graphical interfaces in line with the client’s UX/UI specifications, to deliver a consistent and accessible user experience across multiple platforms.
  • Effectively coordinating between teams and heterogeneous systems, integrating the needs of production, technical support, and end users within a single architecture.
  • Integrating multi-level security and access control systems to ensure data protection and reliability at every stage of the process.

Results

The project led to tangible improvements for both end users and technical and production teams:

  • Thanks to the Rides portal, users can clearly and intuitively monitor their routes, analyze motor performance, and assess environmental impact. This significantly enhanced the overall user experience and customer satisfaction.
  • The web back office enabled faster and more immediate access to production and telemetry data, optimizing post-sales support activities and providing more efficient assistance to vehicle manufacturers.
  • The component production and testing process was standardized and centralized, leading to improved quality control and a significant reduction in errors.
