Our second interview of our Teoresi Air Lines format follows Pedro Soares, a colleague located in Ingolstadt, Germany.
Teoresi in the Germany
Teoresi established its presence in Germany in 2017, opening its headquarters in Munich, a leading hub for engineering innovation and advanced technologies. Over the years, the company has expanded its footprint with additional offices in Berlin, Ingolstadt, and Stuttgart, broadening its footprint across the country’s leading industrial ecosystems.
The German locations play a strategic role in supporting customers and partners operating in highly advanced engineering ecosystems, particularly in the automotive, industrial automation, and high-tech sectors, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions and reinforcing Teoresi’s presence in the European market.
Meet Pedro
Pedro Soares has been part of Teoresi for the past two years. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and currently works as a software engineer.
We spoke with him to gain further insight about what it is like to work in Germany.
What cultural values stand out most when working as an engineer in Germany?
One of the most striking aspects is the diversity of cultural perspectives within teams. I collaborate with colleagues from many different backgrounds and over time you really notice that everyone approaches problems, communication, and teamwork in slightly different ways. It creates a very dynamic environment and ultimately leads to more well-rounded solutions and definitely a richer team experience.
What have you learned from working in a multicultural engineering environment?
Working in a multicultural environment encourages you to question your own assumptions and consider alternative approaches. This not only improved my problem solving but also strengthened my communication and collaboration skills. Over time you become more adaptable and open-minded, which is, in my opinion, fundamental in engineering projects.
What advice would you give to someone starting their career in Germany?
Stay curious and committed continuous learning. Try to learn something new every day, show initiative, and don’t be afraid to fully engage in your work. Be open to feedback and different perspectives – this helped me grow both professionally and personally.
