Dynamis PRC is the winning team of Teoresi’s special award for Formula SAE Italy 2021CorporateSponsorship
The 2021 edition of Formula SAE Italy, a competition involving engineering departments of universities around the world, ended on October 13. Students challenge themself in the design and production of prototypes of combustion, electric or driverless racing cars, simulating the implementation by a company in the automotive industry.
Again this year, Teoresi renewed its support to the event giving the competing teams the chance to win an additional special prize. Finally, the winner was the team from the Polytechnic of Milan Dynamis PRC, which stood out for the excellent engineering and innovative skills demonstrate in the design of the electronic systems in their racing car prototype. Besides the trophy, the team was awarded the access to the Intrepid Control Systems tools: an unlimited license of the Vehicle Spy software and a ValueCAN interface, conceived to facilitate the interaction with the vehicle communication systems, thanks to the feature of network buses monitoring, data acquisition, diagnostic, calibration and simulation.
In an interview to Ishac Oursana and Giorgio Paganini, respectively Technical Director and Co-Head of Electronics & Powertrain Department in Dynamis PRC, we had the chance to get to know the team better, their story and their commitment to Formula SAE. Massimo Milizia, Teoresi technology leader, automotive expert and prize judge, told us how he made the selection of the winning project.
“It was not easy to select a single winning team, however, the approach showed by Dynamis PRC resulted the most innovative. They were able to set up an architecture that could effectively translate requirements into code in just one year. What’s more, I had a clear perception of the commitment of every single member, the real strength of the team!”
Very were pleased to be back on track, we renew our congratulations to the teams that competed and greet them with the hope of seeing them in 2022.
