The second edition of the Innovation Hack Award came to a close during the OneBeat Conference. This internal program reflects Teoresi’s commitment to generating, selecting, and enhancing innovative ideas developed by colleagues across the Group.
Focused on Generative AI and developed in collaboration with AWS, this second edition once again confirmed that sharing skills and diverse perspectives can become a true driver of innovation. The goal? To turn insights into concrete solutions that can be applied to our internal processes and, in the future, to client projects.
A months-long journey: from the hackathon to the stage
The 2025 edition took place on October 30–31, when 51 colleagues – from different locations and companies within the Group – took part in a 48-hour online marathon dedicated to Generative AI.
Organized into 14 multidisciplinary teams, participants worked across four strategic areas:
- simulation of scenarios for autonomous driving
- technical documentation and skills mapping
- ideal candidate selection
- an open space for discussion and ideas on GenAI applications for processes or new business development
During the hackathon, teams were supported by AWS, which provided training and advanced tools such as Amazon SageMaker AI and Amazon Bedrock to help develop scalable concepts aligned with international standards. In the following days, each team submitted a comprehensive dossier including project architecture, potential impact, an initial prototype, and a development roadmap.
The jury and evaluation criteria
Projects were evaluated by a diverse jury designed to represent different skills and perspectives. The technical committee consisted of independent internal members, each responsible for assessing one of the five criteria defined by the regulations: innovation, potential impact, technical feasibility, alignment with the chosen theme, and solution maturity. Each criterion was scored from 1 to 5, for a maximum total of 25 points.
This approach made it possible to assess each project holistically, balancing originality, applicability, and alignment with corporate priorities. At the end of the process, four projects were selected with the highest scores, following a tie for third place.
The winning team then took the stage at the OneBeat Conference, where they were awarded.
A lasting value for Teoresi
The projects presented demonstrated not only creativity, but also a strong focus on scalability and practical application. Starting in early 2026, a consolidation phase will begin, during which the most promising concepts will evolve into Proofs of Concept through a dedicated program of development, training, and collaboration with AWS.
Who was involved
The initiative brought together colleagues from multiple teams, who contributed their expertise and collaboration at every stage of the project. Communication, Legal, Marketing, Operations, ICT, and Logistics all played a key role in managing the operational steps.
