On Wednesday, February 8, Teoresi’s Turin office hosted Intrepid Tech Day: an event which brought together customers, prospects and colleagues to discuss and share the latest innovations in vehicle networking and embedded technologies.
An opportunity to present our expertise in autonomous driving, electric vehicles, cybersecurity, and automotive ethernet supported by the solutions and tools offered by Intrepid Control Systems.
Among the various speeches, a team of Intrepid Control Systems representatives consisting of Sven Bohner, Director EU, Fabio Leite Soares, Software Engineering Manager, Andreas Kirsch, Field Application Engineer, provided an overview of solutions to address technological challenges in the automotive world, including cybersecurity and fleet management.
In particular, the Intrepid team presented the next-generation neoVI-FIRE 3 and neoVI-RED 2 vehicular interface tools and data loggers, revealing the secrets of remote data logging and Automotive Ethernet architectures. It was an opportunity to introduce the new neoVI-PI platform: the first device with a built-in Raspberry Pi which enables fully automated cybersecurity testing.
Next, it was the turn of the Dynamis PRC team from Politecnico di Milano, runner-up in the driverless category at the Formula Student Germany 2022 and Hungary 2022, who shared their experience on the use of Intrepid tools during design, testing and in-race activities. Giorgio Agnelli, technical director of the team’s electric division, explained the effective use of Intrepid’s ValueCAN4 device and Vehicle Spy software to carry out tests on the battery pack and the entire prototype car by monitoring data in real time, both during the initial testing phase on the car and during the competition, which allowed for a comprehensive overview of performance.
The demo area, set up in the spaces adjacent to the conference attracted the interest of the most curious who were able to see in action and test the devices presented and discuss with Intrepid experts.
