Sustainability and EcoVadis: our daily challenge of social and environmental responsibility

Teoresi’s sustainability path meets EcoVadis, one of the main international rating platforms that evaluates organizations’ Corporate Social Responsibility based on four macro-themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis has ranked Teoresi in the top 16% of companies in the “Programming, IT consulting and related activities” sector, rewarding the company’s constant commitment to adopting sustainable practices and integrating them into the company’s culture and development strategy.

EcoVadis and the assessment method

EcoVadis is an international platform for monitoring organizations that reliably evaluates companies’ sustainability performance, providing them with comprehensive feedback and tools to help them develop a continuous improvement path.

The evaluation model is based on globally recognized standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), UNGC (United Nations Global Compact), ISO 26000 and is overseen by an international scientific committee.

Through a customized questionnaire based on the company’s sector of origin, performance is evaluated through 21 indicators grouped into four macro-areas:

• Environment
• Labor and human rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable procurement.

EcoVadis assigns a score based on the company’s responses and documentation, which includes company policies, implementation measures, and results achieved through sustainable actions: Teoresi obtained the Ecovadis Silver medal in 2022, which corresponds to a “good” level of sustainability performance and a structured and proactive approach according to EcoVadis standards.
