On May 13th, at the Circolo dei lettori, we will present our first editorial project: Teoresi Grand Tour
There comes a time, in the life of a company and in how it tells its story, when the need to experiment with new formats becomes stronger. For us, that time has been a recurring one, but it took on new meaning last year, when we decided to tell our story through a film made entirely in a virtual set: a new – and in some ways visionary – way of involving the people who make Teoresi possible every day. Today, that story continues, on paper.
We’ll present it on Tuesday, May 13th, at 5:30 PM, in the Biblioteca room of the Circolo dei lettori in Turin, as part of the Salone OFF program. The book is titled Teoresi Grand Tour, just like the film. It’s a work that sits somewhere between reality and imagination, between technology and narrative invention. It tells of cities that don’t exist but feel familiar, of journeys that speak of the future, and of stories – real ones – that speak of ingenuity, relationships, and shared visions.
A story that reflects who we are
We envisioned this project as a natural extension of the work we do every day: designing, experimenting, innovating. But also as an opportunity to pause and reflect on who we are, beyond numbers and deliverables. The book is born from the same narrative concept that inspired the film, and it retains its exploratory spirit.
Inside, you’ll find four imaginary cities – Detroix, Luganum, Monak, and Torin – each representing a set of contemporary challenges we care about: sustainable mobility, artificial intelligence, urban transformation, and responsible innovation.
Alongside the fantasy narrative, there is our reality: the voices of the people who work at Teoresi, our outlook on the future, and the thoughts and experiences that shaped this journey. Because it is a journey, even if no tickets are needed: a path that – for once, in reverse – moves “from digital to analog”, experimenting with new languages to tell the story of our company culture.
Telling our story to imagine what’s next
We believe companies need the courage to imagine new ways of telling their stories. For us, that also means taking more creative risks, blending tones, and stepping outside traditional formats. The Teoresi Grand Tour Book was born this way: as an editorial and visual experiment, created together with the Sixeleven agency, which curated the creative direction and graphic design.
The result is a richly illustrated publication full of visual cues and ideas, blending fantasy and industrial vision, storytelling and cultural reflection. We see it as a way to communicate – inside and outside the company – while keeping space for thought, imagination, and a light but meaningful look at the future we want to help shape.
We’ll talk about it on May 13th with those who helped bring the project to life: Valter Brasso, Beatrice Borgia, Diego Tornese, Massimo Schiro, Gabriele Pinzin, and Silvia Palazzi. The event will be moderated by Stefania Soma, better known as Petunia Ollister, who knows a thing or two about books, stories, and breakfast tables. We’ll end with a few readings, an open conversation with the audience, and an aperitivo — as we do on good occasions.
