Teoresi took part in a workshop at the European Parliament in Brussels, organised by the Policy Department for Economic, Scientific and Quality of Life Policies.
The workshop was part of a legislative work on the proposal of EU regulation on type-approval for motor vehicles as regards their general safety and the protection of vehicle occupants and vulnerable road users.
Our colleagues speech was focused on cybersecurity and privacy aspects on ADAS Systems. In fact ADAS systems are increasingly connected in a C-ITS (Collaborative Intelligent Transport System). This has a significant impact on the efficiency making features more dynamic. On the other side connected systems will affect privacy and security: in this scenario confidentiality, integrity, availability (CIA triad), as well as non-reputability and authenticity, must be considered in the implementation of EU regulation.
